Analytical laboratory

In this laboratory our specialists conduct both qualitative and quantitative analyzes of compounds. Our analytical laboratory is divided into units for relevant methods of analysis:

1. Chromatographic department

HPLC

For monitoring of safety performance and quality complex methods of HPLC were developed, they allow to share till 19 amino acids in a sample by one analysis. Availability of modern gas chromatograph with mass-spectrometric detector allows us to define very small or "trace" amounts of toxic and hazardous substances in the samples, and also carry out the separation and identification of compounds whose mass differs only in 1 Da.

autosampler

The autosampler is a programmable device for the automatic introduction of samples. This reduces analysis time and eliminates the human factor during the samples’ injection. In addition, various algorithms (of the samples injection) in conjunction with the temperature condition and the delivery of doses using the autosampler results in more accurate results.

2. Elemental Analysis Department

Device equipped with autosampler and mercury-hydride prefix
The device is equipped with autosampler and mercury-hydride prefix.

We use a method of atomic absorption spectrometry to determine inorganic elements. By this method we maintain a database of measures from a large number of elements (Ag, Al, As, Au, Ba, Be, Bi, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Pd, Pt, Rh, Ru, Se, Sn, Sb, Sr, Ti, V, Zn, etc.) in a wide range of objects from food samples and soil samples.

This device is equipped with an autosampler and mercury-hydride prefix.

3. Sample Preparation Department

In this department we prepare the samples for research, and define their composition by sequential chemical decomposition. State-of-the-art electronic equipment in our laboratory enables us to provide automated and simplified processes for most of the stages of the traditional methods in analytical chemistry.

We use a lot of devices in our laboratory. These devices reduce the time of experiments to a large extend and increase reproducibility and repeatability, which guarantees accurate and reliable results.
