    WESSLING Innovation Award 2016: Ideas Enthuse Customers and Employees Alike

    Three teams, from Hungary, France and Germany, are this year’s winners of the WESSLING Innovation Award, which was initiated by the company’s founder, Dr Erwin Weßling. Jimmy Sapede, Robin T’Jampens and Stéphane Fievet, Jens Reiber, Christian Winter and András Szabó received an award for their ideas, during the annual company meeting, in Munich. For a consecutive ninth year the international jury rewarded the employees’ best ideas with 10,000 Euro prize money. The award-winning innovations reflect the expertise wide of engineers and scientists employed at the service provider for analyses and consultancy.

    Innovation award winners celebrated with fan chants

    Fan chants at the stadium, one's face on the big stadium screen: this year, the winners of the WESSLING Innovation Award were celebrated at the corporation's base in the Ruhr region. Four ideas from France, Hungary and Germany were awarded in 2015. Company founder Dr Erwin Weßling established the award in 2008 and since that year the best ideas are being rewarded annually with a total of EUR 10,000. 1,200 employees at eight European sites and in China work to improve quality, safety, environmental and health protection and thereby the quality of living.
